Margaret A. Garrison, 89, of Columbus, GA, passed away August 8, 2015 at Brookside Glen Assisted Living Facility.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain James Cornett officiating. Interment will be held at Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Garrison was born May 20, 1926, the daughter of the late Joseph P. Rhew and Lillian Miller. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Other than her parents, Mrs. Garrison was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald T. Garrison, Sr.
Survivors include daughters, Linda Wilson (Tommy) of Ft. Mitchell, AL and Donna J. Clark of Pawley Island, SC, sons, Donald Garrison, Jr. (Olivia) of Winder, GA, Ronnie Garrison (Cindy) of Lansing, MI, Lonnie Garrison (Victoria) and Michael Garrison (Yvonne) both of Uhland, AL, sister, Betty Stevens of Asheville, NC, brothers, Bobby Rhew (Mae) and Jerry Rhew both of Asheville, NC, eighteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Glory Hospice 122 Enterprise Ct. Suite D Columbus, GA 31904.
