Marcus "Mark" Blake Morrison

Marcus “Mark” Blake Morrison, 57, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at his residence.

Mark was born January 15, 1964 in Columbus, GA to the late Arlion Monroe and Rosie Crawford Morrison.  He worked with his family owned business “Morrison Construction Company” and became a master of carpentry. Mark loved to hunt and was a huge Georgia Bulldog fan. He was a charismatic man and loved to give to others. Mark loved his daughter, “Poot” and granddaughter, “LittlePoot”. These were the nicknames he gave them.

Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Jackie Morrison, mother and father-in-law, WT and Judy Johnson and sister-in-law, Kathy Morrison.

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Morrison of Phenix City, AL ,wife Michelle Morrison of Phenix City, Al. , granddaughter, Stella Collins of Phenix City, AL., sister, Jean Overby (Billy) of Columbus, GA, brothers, Raymond Morrison of Hamilton, GA, Tommy Morrison, of Columbus, GA, Donnie Morrison (Debbie) of Columbus, GA, Rusty Morrison of Columbus, GA, sisters, Donna Roy (Marty) of Columbus, GA,  and Teresa Shaw of Columbus, GA., brother and sister-in- law’s, Dee and Tonia Williams, and Todd and Marcia Johnson, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good buddy’s.
