Marcia Elaine Hatcher

It is with a sad heart that we announce the passing of Marcia Elaine Hatcher on Saturday, April 6, 2024.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Marcia was born July 3, 1936 in Columbus, GA. She was the only child of Robert Gifford Slayton and Hattie Byrd Slayton of Columbus, GA. She was employed by Teachers Retirement System of Georgia. She truly enjoyed her job and all the associates who worked there.
Marcia was the mother of three children, son John Hatcher (Deborah) of Marietta, GA, Jeffery B. Hatcher of Atlanta, GA and deceased daughter, Jean Slayton Hatcher.
