Marcia J. Buchta

Marcia J. Buchta, 78, of Columbus, GA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.

Marcia was born in Montrose, PA, Marcia was the beloved daughter of Robert and Mary Stevens. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Francis Buchta, and together they built a life centered on love, faith, and family. She was the proud mother of two sons, Kurt (Kelly) Buchta and Chad (Alicia) Buchta, she was the cherished grandmother of Justin Buchta, McKenzie (Jordan) Pepe, Madison Buchta, and CJ Buchta, and great-grandmother to Easton Pepe and Kaiden Pepe.

She is survived by her sister, Karen (Richard) Kamsoke, whose close bond she treasured.

Marcia was a strong Christian woman whose unwavering faith guided her life. She was a caring and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her love and support were a constant source of comfort to her family and friends.

In her earlier years, Marcia enjoyed playing golf, swimming, and shopping. She loved to travel, explore new places, and bring joy to others through her cooking. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose laughter and love brightened her days.

Marcia’s warmth, generosity, and boundless love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Marcia’s name to the 75th Ranger Regiment Association Scholarship Fund.

Marcia’s legacy of love, faith, and family will live on in the lives of those she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
