Mandy Marie Wharam Stone, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 24, 2023.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 01, 2023 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Bobby John Stevens officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, July 31, 2023 at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery following the service.

Born on November 20, 1978, in Columbus, Mandy lived a life full of compassion and service, touching the lives of many with her kindness and warmth. Mandy was the cherished daughter of Robert and Catherine Wharam. She was a loving sister to Marcie Alaina Gavens and a dear sister-in-law to Jon Gavens. She was a devoted aunt to her nephews, Jacob and Jack Gavens. Her family, which extended to include numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, will remember her as a beacon of love and support.

A lifelong learner, Mandy earned a Master's Degree in Social Work. Her commitment to education was a testament to her dedication to helping others. She utilized her knowledge and skills to make a profound impact on her community, embodying the true spirit of social work throughout her career.
