Mae Frances Rigsby, 84, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, September 8, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, September 12, 2016 at Parkhill Cemetery 4161 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA 31907. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ms. Rigsby was born March 18, 1932 in Newhope, AL daughter of the late Samuel D. and Bertha Mae Oliver Faircloth. She retired from Swift Mills as a Spinner and later was a homemaker. She was a Baptist by faith and she loved to cook.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her six sisters and one brother.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol L. Talley of Columbus, GA, niece, Angela Godwin (Andy) of Fortson, GA, sister, Jimmy Sue Tindel Carter of Jack, AL, and friend, Tim Long of Columbus, GA.
