Madie Lee Martin, 80, of Fortson, GA, died Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Azalea Trace.
Memorial Service will be held 4:00 PM, Monday, October 27, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Pastor Mark Tipton officiating.
Mrs. Martin was born February 21, 1934 in Dothan, AL, daughter of the late Jessy Thomas Sanders and Missouri Ledger Sanders. She was a co-owner of All Seasons Flower Nursery, a bookkeeper for Robert Martin Electric and later retired from Golden Moving Company. Mrs. Martin loved her family and gardening and her greatest love was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wallace Martin and 12 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Patty Bowden (Earl) of Fortson, GA; 2 grandchildren, Jeffery Bowden of Fortson, GA and Jessica Bowden of LaGrange, GA; 3 great-grandchildren, Reese Bowden, Brinlee Bowden, and Tucker Bowden.
