Madelyn Juliette Dendy, 79, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, January 8, 2012 at her home.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, January 15, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dan MacMinn officiating. The family will receive friends after the service according to the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Dendy was born September 16, 1932 in Russell County, AL daughter of the late Arnold and Myrtle Emma Newsome Meredith. She worked as a LPN for The Medical Center and St. Francis Hospital.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver S. Dendy.
Survivors include her sons, Larry Helms of Port Arthur, TX, William Saulnier (Vicky) of Gardner, MA, Robert Saulnier (Susan) of Columbus, GA and Glen Saulnier (Sherril) of Phenix City, AL, daughters, Jane Saulnier of Pheonix, AZ and Lisa Saulnier of Gardner, MA, nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
