Mable Frances Bowman, 72 of Phenix City died Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Medical Center in Columbus, GA.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 19, 2011 at Central Baptist Church, 1407 Broad Street, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Dexter James officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home, 613 14th St. Phenix City, AL.
Mrs. Bowman was born October 13, 1939 in Troy, Alabama daughter of the late Ida Mae Mancil and John Edgar Mancil. She had worked as a spinner for West Point Pepperell Mill and was the owner of Bowman Apartments and Homes. She was also a member of Central Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Martis Alfred â
