Ma Nonette (Almeda) Lunderman

Ma. Nonette Almeda-Lunderman, 60, of Columbus, GA joined our Creator peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, GA.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 17, 2020 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907, with Father Paul Pantiru officiating. Due to the current situation, we are unable to hold a gathering for friends and family following the Memorial Service. We thank you for your understanding. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, those attending the funeral service will be required to wear a face mask and social distancing will be in effect.

Mrs. Lunderman was born January 18, 1960 in Oriental Mindoro, Philippines to Paciencia Fajardo Almeda and the late Marciano B. Almeda.

Ma. Nonette had a loving heart with a vibrant soul. Her most unforgettable trait was her selflessness, never asking for anything in return. She was a mother to all, treating and caring for everyone as if they were her own, and without second thought; one who never stopped showing how proud she was of her children and grandchildren. Her favorite part of the day was seeing and talking to them. To her, family comes first.

In addition to caring for others, Ma. Nonette found so much joy in performing and sharing her music. She always expressed her love through her favorite songs. She was and always will be a woman, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a mother, and a grandmother to remember, and we will all spend the rest of our lives missing her very dearly.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon Lunderman; children, Nancy Paredes& spouse Monchie, Ricardo Poblador & spouse Filmalinda, Paolo Poblador; mother, Paciencia Fajardo Almeda; siblings, Jomar Almeda, Rogel Almeda& spouse Cynthia, and Loi Almeda; grandchildren, Erika, Erin, Ethan, and Ellie.
