Lynn E. Beck, 62, of Columbus, GA died Friday, April 12, 2013 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at St. Anne's Catholic Church with Rev. Father Gerald Schreck officiating. A private interment will be held at Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery. A Rosary will be said Tuesday evening at 6:00 P.M. with visitation following at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Beck was born April 13, 1950 in Milwaukee, WI daughter of the late Eugene Nowicki and Estelle Chimeleski Nowicki. She was part owner of Advantage Cycle. She was a member and the Religious Education Director at St. Anne's Catholic Church.
Lynn was, to everyone she came in contact with, a mother, an educator, a friend, and a trusting soul. Her love of everyone was shown through in her daily spirit and faith in the Lord. She spent every second "tending to her flock" and leading by example. She will be missed and remembered every time a violet comes in sight or something purple passes your gaze.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Dean Arthur Beck, DDS.
Survivors include her daughters, Melissa Beck of Rhinebeck, New York and Erin Beck of Columbus, Georgia; sister, Jody Criscuolo (Ben) of Wallingford, CT and two nieces, Brooke Silva (Carlos) and Ashley Thornton all of CT.
