Luz Milagros Wright, 69, of Upatoi, GA died Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Brian LaBurt officiating. Interment will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL. A Rosary will be said Wednesday evening at 5:30 PM with visitation to follow until 8:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Luz Wright was born November 28, 1943 in Comerio Puerto Rico, daughter of Marcelino Alicea Estrella of Columbus, GA and the late Inocencia Alicea. She retired after 20 years of service as a business manager at Columbus Regional Family Practice.
Survivors include her father, Marcelino Alicea Estrella of Columbus, GA; her husband, Vincent C. Wright, Sr. of Upatoi, GA; daughter, Tina Cutright (Sam) of Prattville, AL; sons, Larry Wright (Lisa) of Columbus, GA and Vincent Wright, Jr. (Sheryl) of Grayson, GA; brothers, Marty Alicea (Lori) of Lawrenceville, GA and Michael Alicea (Rhonda) of Box Springs, GA; sister, Marixia Rigsby (Terry) of Newport News, VA; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
