Luther Oliver Land, 85, of Columbus, GA passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015 in Palm Bay, FL.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 22, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
The son of Luther and Josephine Land, Mr. Land was born in Miami, FL. He graduated from CVCC with a degree in Wildlife Management and worked in that department at Ft. Benning, which was the perfect job for him.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faith Haller Land.
Survivors include his daughter, Julie Hill, two sons, James Collins and Douglas Collins, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, a large extended family, and many caring friends.
