Louise J. Baker, 98 of Phenix City, AL died Friday, June 7, 2013 at Canterbury Health Facility.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 10, 2013 at Colonial Funeral Home with Rev. Dexter James officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 613 14th St. Phenix City, AL.
Mrs. Baker was born March 4, 1915 in Pike County, Alabama daughter of the late Judge Linson Johnson and Mattie Martha Tillery Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church in Phenix City. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and gardening.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Winston Baker and sister Jewel Davis.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Ann Ellerman and husband, Daniel of Salem, Al and Penny Cook and husband, Bobby of Phenix City, AL; brother, J T Johnson of Smiths Station, AL, seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
