Louis R. Hourany, Sr., 75 of Cusseta, GA died Saturday, April 10, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA with Deacon Robert Herman officiating.
Mr. Hourany was born June 23, 1934 in Connecticut, son of the late Mady Simon Hourany and Lena Linda Hattan Hourany. He was a US Navy veteran. He retired from Carmike Cinemas and was a catholic by faith. He was preceded in death by his son Louis R. Hourany, Jr.
Survivors include his wife Dora Hourany of Cusseta, GA; children Linda Parker (Harry) of Chicago, IL, Sue Tascus (Steve) of Detroit, MI, Janet Bentley of Birmingham, AL; Mark Hourany (Jackie) of Moody, AL, Robert Hourany of Lincoln, AL and Marion Brown (Robert) of Phenix City, AL; sister Gloria Hourany of Flint, MI; seventeen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
