Louis James Baker, 72, of Junction City, GA, died Friday, April 3, 2015 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Grace Baptist Church, 2915 14th Ave. Columbus, GA 31904 with Pastor Jeremy Rands officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Baker was born May 7, 1942 in Shinrock, OH, son of the late Clarence Fredrick Baker and Harriette Conklin Baker. He was a handyman who enjoyed building things, was a baker for Magic Oven Bakery, and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lawrence and Richard.
Survivors include his wife, Robin Baker of Junction City, GA; sons, Jeromy Song (Felicia) of Cataula, GA , Chris Song of Phenix City, AL and Tommy Baker (Michelle) of Macon, GA; sister, Dorothy Jones (Richard) of Junction City, GA; brother, Ted Baker(Judy) of Jacksonville, AL; grandchildren, Nathan Song and Natalie Song both of Cataula, GA and Adam Baker and Evelyn Baker both of Macon, GA, and numerous nieces , nephews and cousins.
