Lottie Juanita Bailey

Mrs. Lottie Juanita Bailey, 95, of Columbus, GA passed away in her sleep Monday, February 28, 2022.

A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, March 3, 2022 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Ken Dawson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Juanita was born on December 29, 1926 in Chattahoochee County, GA. She was a graduate of Jordan Vocational High School and was retired from the United States Postal Service. She loved gardening and was continually praised for the lovely roses and other flowers and shrubs she planted and cared for around her home later in life, and for many years, Juanita displayed much love and compassion for her pets that consisted of numerous dogs and cats.

Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. John T. Bailey and a daughter, Sandra V. Waugh. She is survived by one daughter, Connie J. Pegg of Albany, GA, two sons, Thomas J. Bailey and his wife Brenda M. Bailey of Alabaster, AL, Allen B. Pegg  of Milton, FL, four grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
