Lorraine E. Brayman, 60, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Tony Dickerson officiating. A private interment will be held at Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lorraine was born June 19, 1955 in Berlin, Germany daughter of Virginia Hartley Brayman of Ellerslie, GA and the late William Robert Brayman, Sr. She was a graduate of Kingston High School in Rhode Island and attended Columbus State University. She was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. She worked in Transportation for the Civil Service and was a member of Pinehurst Baptist Church. She loved animals, babies, and jewelry.
Survivors other than her mother include her sisters, Virginia "Bunny" Baxley of Columbus, GA and Thea Williams (Richard) of Cataula, GA, brother, William Robert Brayman, Jr., numerous nieces and nephews, William Robert Brayman, III, Matthew Carl Brayman, Stacey Marie Williams and her daughter, Marisa, Christopher Brayman Williams and his son, Riley, Ginny Baxley Daniels (Michael) and their children, Morgan, Micah, and Marleigh.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to PAWS Humane 4900 Milgen Rd. Columbus, GA 31909.
