Lois was born to Susie Carlisle Allen and George Mack Allen in Talbot County, Georgia in the middle of eight wonderful sisters and three good brothers. She loved her country youth, school in Woodland, and playing high school basketball.
Mama was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her thirty-five years working for Tom's Foods was a joy to her, with many perfect attendance pins and many friends. She will be remembered sweetly for her hospitality, good food, work ethic, kindness to all and the sharing of hugs. She thought a pack of Tom's peanut butter crackers could fix everything - you never left without a pack.
Lois was predeceased by her husband's, Britt Benjamin Koon and George Littlebear. She is survived by daughters, Sandra Vivian Haney (Don), Suzanne Koon Cope (Don), three grandchildren, Doug Haney (Pat), Margaret Cope Spadaro, Benjamin McLeon Cope, three great grandchildren, Jessica Haney Curly (Daniel), Mason Spadaro, Acelin Cope and great great grandson, Conner Curly.
We are forever grateful to all the kind nurses, caregivers and staff who loved Mama through her last journey in Garden View and Orchard View. A family memorial in Shiloh later in April will celebrate her birth and life.
