Linda Gail Wotipka, 62, of Box Springs, GA died Monday, December 14, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Mike Reeves officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Wotipka was born September 11, 1947 daughter of the late John Ruben Thomas and Elizabeth Irene Henley. She was a member of 2nd Baptist Church on 2nd Ave. Columbus, GA. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Linda Michelle Hinson.
Survivors include her husband, Neil Wotipka of Box Springs, GA, daughters, Cyrena Lindhorst (John) of Box Springs, GA and Charlene Jasper (Matthew) of New Haven, MO, son, Charles Wotipka (Brandy) of Sikeston, MO, brothers, William Thomas (Gloria) of Columbus, GA and Erskine Thomas (Lydia) of Pittsview, AL, sister, Betty Daniels (Allen) of Pinkard, AL, six grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Diabetic Association 1701 North Beauregard St. Alexandria, VA 22311.
