Linda Carol Phillips

Linda Carol Turner Phillips, 67, of Columbus died in her home on April 14, 2010 after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday April 16, 2010 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with
Rev. Marcia Cochran officiating. Interment will be held in Pine Mountain City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd.
Mrs. Phillips was born November 22, 1942 in Waverly Hall, Ga. daughter of the late Dewey H. Turner, Sr. and Vera Williams Turner. Linda received her teaching degree from Georgia Southern College in Statesboro, Ga. and received her Masters degree in Education at Columbus State University in Columbus,
Ga. She was a dedicated teacher for 32 years and retired from the Muscogee County School System. She
was loved and respected by all who knew her and worked with her.
Mrs. Phillips was a member and Sunday School teacher of Epworth United Methodist Church in Columbus, Ga.
