Linda B. (Baston) Hobbs

Linda B. Hobbs, 93, of Columbus, GA died Monday, March 8, 2021 at her residence.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, March 12, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31097. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 facemask and social distancing will be required during the services.
Linda was born April 7, 1927 in Fitzgerald, GA to the late Charlie Baston and Susie Carter Baston. She worked in finance for the Civil Service. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Lee Hobbs and her son, David Hobbs.
She is survived by her children, Cathy Powers, of Fredericksburg, VA, John Hobbs (Jamie) of Waverly Hall, GA, grandchildren, Kelly Wallis (Barry) of Locust Grove, GA, Stacy Monson (Ron) of Fredericksburg, VA, Robin Hobbs of Smyrna, GA, Ellen Hobbs of Waverly Hall, GA, Maggie Hobbs of Columbus, GA, great-grandchildren, Morgan, Emma and Jesse.
