Linda Gail Greer, 65, of Columbus, GA, died Saturday, September 16, 2017 at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at North Highland Church, 7300 Whittlesey Blvd. Columbus, GA 31909 with Rev. Mike McBride officiating. Interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ms. Greer was born August 15, 1952 in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late Ralph Lamar Boone and Bobbie Abernathy Boone. She was a recently retired nurse, teacher, and administrator in the health care industry. Ms. Greer enjoyed helping those around her and always went above and beyond, was a teacher and encourager who loved her family deeply. We will always remember her and her positive influence.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Coker.
Survivors include her children, Danny Steen of McCool, MS, Renee Tokach (Adam) of Ft. Bragg, NC, Kim Bennett (Ben) of Columbus, GA and George Hugar (Kathryn) of Columbus, GA; sister, Tammy Tate of Phenix City, AL; Brother, Ralph Boone, Jr of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Daniel, Derrick, Gary, Tyson, Grace, Bobbi, Jason, Cole, Gracyn, Dagen, Kate and Jared; great-grandchildren, Annie and Aubrey; best friend, Debi Singeltary and numerous nieces and nephews.
