Lillian L Proctor

Lillian L. Proctor, 94, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 24, 2021 in the of Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Dr. Don Wilhite officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM before the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be at Dickson Memory Gardens in Dickson County, TN.  In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 facemasks and social distancing will be required during the services.

Lillian was born April 14, 1927 in Trenton, TN to the late Alvin Harper and Ina Watson Harper. She worked at Baptist Sunday School Board in shipping and receiving for 27 years. She was a member of Kirkland Memorial Baptist Church, she was very active with The Golden Age Group and she was very involved with the Ministries at the church. She also volunteered at The Gardens at Calvary for several years.  Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Julian M. Proctor, and her brothers, Wayne Harper and Bob Harper.

She is survived by her son, Charlie Proctor (Janice) of Columbus, GA, grandchild, Ashley Mercer of Columbus, GA and great-grandchild, Kaela Mercer of Columbus, GA.
