Leslie P.Brossett, 67, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, November 21, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907 with interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Brossett was born November 3, 1947 in Ft. Jackson, SC son of the late Pierce Brossett and Frances Hayes Brossett. He served in the United States Navy as an E3 and later worked Civil Service for 41 years -- Eighteen of those years were as a firefighter.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Troy Brossett and his twin brother, Leonard Brossett.
Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Donna Brossett; son, Nathan Brossett; granddaughters, Caroline Brossett and Whitney Macon all of Columbus, GA; brothers, Wayne Brossett (Mary Ann) of Albany, GA; Douglas Brossett (Maria) of Hollywood, FL and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to send a special thanks to the Martin family, the Hooper family, Ashleigh and Waylon Wells.
