Leonard W. Lane, 71, of Cuthbert, GA died Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Vista Care at Franciscan Woods in Columbus, GA.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Cuthbert United Methodist Church with Reverend Chris Shoemaker and Reverend Martin Loyley officiating.
Mr. Lane was born September 9, 1938 in Bainbridge, GA son of the late Euless Lane and Margaret Kelly. He was U.S. Air Force Veteran and worked for the Carlton Company Caterpillar Dealership.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Lane and his adopted family, Mickey and O.H. Jordan.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Judy Johnson Lane of Cuthbert, GA, son, Michael Lane of Cave Creek, AZ, daughter, Michele Noren of Moorhead, MN, sister-in-law, Audrey Lane of Ft. Valley, GA, and extended family, Sandra South (Henry) of Cobb, GA, and Gayle Doran of Cobb, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Vista Care Hospice 100 Brookstone Centre Parkway Columbus, GA 31904 or the American Cancer Society 233 12th St. Columbus, GA 31901.
