Leonard M. Hardy, Jr., 82, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Morningside Baptist Church 6065 Morningside Dr. Columbus, GA 31909 with Dr. Thad Smith officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Hardy was born December 14, 1932 in Gable, South Carolina son of the late Leonard M. Hardy, Sr. and Ethel Barrow Hardy. He worked as a General Superintendent for APAC.
Survivors include his wife of 55 ½ years, Sandy Hawsey Hardy of Columbus, GA, daughters, Tonya Hardy Roy (Joseph) of Columbus, GA and Kellie Hardy Puglise (Michael) of Snellville, GA, sons, Darrell Hardy (Kristal) of Rockford, AL, Michael Hardy (Kelli) of Prattville, AL and Shandon Hardy of Columbus, GA, sister, Sis Prescott of Sumter, SC, and five grandchildren, Brandon Roy, Brooke Puglise, Abigail Hardy, Sarah Hardy and Megan Hardy.
