Heaven gained a powerful angel when LeAnn Brown left her body on 4:45pm on Saturday, 8/21. Her passing was peaceful and her pain was brief. For those who had the blessing of sharing in her time on Earth, when you hear the sound of rain on your rooftop – think of her. For those who shared in her love of music, when you hear Fleetwood Mac, Jethro Tull, Matchbox Twenty, or Adele – think of her. Most importantly, when you need her – ask for her help. She is there. She is everywhere. Crowned in glory.
Whether you knew her from her younger years or from her career as a dental hygienist, as a nurse, or as a teacher, you are invited to celebrate the life of this incredible woman with us.
There will be a gathering with a service and video montage in a large and open space at The Bibb Mill Event Center in the Highlands Room at 5:30pm on Thursday, 9/2. There will be strong coffee, charcuterie, and some of LeAnn’s favorite songs to follow in the Bibb room, where all are welcome to share stories, laughter, and remembrance of her incredible talents and the legacy she has left and continues to leave. We’d love to see you there and so would she. Sing hallelujah! LeAnn is off to bigger, better things. We gather in her honor to rejoice, rejoice, rejoice. Not gone and surely not forgotten.
LeAnn is preceded in Heaven by her dear brother and father, Mark Brown and Don Brown Sr. She is succeeded by her mother, JoAnn Brown, her only son, Conner Kees, her sister, Sue White, and her brother Don Brown Jr. She also lives on in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews, Meghan White Garret, Matt White, Mitch White, Katelin Brown Bivens, Chris Brown, Jaime Brown, Justin Brown and to countless friends and colleagues, with special condolences and gratitude to Rev. Allison Kennedy Owen, Natalie Kelly, Nichole White Glozier, Dr. Osie Huling, and Kim Brewer and to her “other sons” Michael Andrews and Anthony Bencosme.
Flowers for the service are received at Bibb Mill Event Center and suggested donations are to Columbus Hospice in LeAnn's honor.
