A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, October 2, 2023 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.
Danny was the beloved son of Dan and Rosa Jackson, cherished brother to Emily (Jackson) Clipp, a dear cousin to Frances (Jackson) Matticoli and a special friend to Scottie Bishop and Rose. He was a pillar of strength for his family, always there to lend a hand and share a laugh. His unwavering commitment to his loved ones was a testament to his generous heart and kind soul.
In his professional life, Danny served as a proud Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. His courage and dedication were evident in his service, earning him the respect and admiration of all who served with him. Following his time in the military, Danny showcased his talent and hard work in various industries, including as an auto mechanic, welder, construction technician, and IADC off-shore oil rig service contractor. His versatility, skill, and dedication to his work were widely recognized and appreciated by his colleagues and employers.
Danny was an avid NASCAR fan, his love for speed and mechanics extended beyond his professional life.
