Lavern Edward Supan, Jr., 66, of West Point, GA died Thursday, October 15, 2015 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Monday, October 19, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Reverend Larry Rollins officiating.

Mr. Supan was born June 27, 1949 in Columbus, GA son of the late Lavern Edward Supan, Sr. and Juanita Golden Supan. He graduated from Jordan High School in 1967 where he immediately started working as a Techincal Service Engineer for the NCR until he retired. Mr. Supan was a Lieutenant for the Northwest Harris Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of the Columbus Jaycees. He was also a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Linda Gail Cottle Supan of West Point, GA, daughter, Mandee Rollins (Will) of Columbus, GA, son, Eddie Supan (Abby) of Phenix City, AL, grandchildren, Billy Rollins, Hannah Rollins both of Columbus, GA, Ally Supan and Mady Supan both of Phenix City, AL, sister, Sandra Parker (Rudy) of West Point, GA, and his dog, Rascal.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) www.jdrf.org or to Camp Kudzu 5885 Glenridge Dr. Suite 160 Atlanta, GA 30328.
