Laurance Daniel "Danny" Barnette, 48, of Ellerslie, GA died Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, September 5, 2016 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Father Gonzalez officiating. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
Danny was born August 20, 1968 in Kentucky son of Robert Van Kimmel and Mary Barnette Kimmel. He worked in Sales at Columbus Flooring and More and was Catholic by faith.
Survivors other than his parents include his loving wife, Letha Barnette, daughters, Lauren Faulkner (Brian) and Kelli Barnes, sister, Adrianne McFarland (Kevin), brothers, Aaron Kimmel and Nathan Kimmel Holland, grandchildren, Aidan Barnes and Bailey Faulkner, nieces, Jessica McFarland, Heather Morris (Shane) and Kristin McFarland, nephew, Logan McFarland, great nephew, Mason Morris, and great niece, Mackenzie Morris.
