Laura Willis Gunn

Laura Willis Gunn, 89, of Columbus, GA died Monday, February 3, 2025 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, February 7, 2025 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Jeff Parmer officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held following the service at Parkhill Cemetery.
Laura was born August 11, 1935 in Bridgeboro, GA to the late Benjamin F. Willis and Ruby Lee Bass Willis. She was a member of Bridgeboro Baptist Church in Bridgeboro, GA. She loved to sew, cook and take care of her house but most of all she loved taking care of her family and spending time with them.
Other than her parents, Laura is preceded in death by her husband, SG Gunn, siblings, Winburn Willis, Herbert Willis, Margie Carnathan, Tracy Willis, Robert Willis and George Willis.
She is survived by her children, Mike Gunn (Melanie), Rick Gunn (Cheryl), Judy Anderson, Wanda Woodard (Don), Ginger Wright (AC), Vickie Smith (Tommy), Liz Daniels, Sandra Parmer (Jeff), brother, Harris Willis (Emily), 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
