Larry Mitchell Nason

Larry Mitchell Nason, 70, of Columbus, GA passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at his residence. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907, with Vandy Russell officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Larry was born April 8, 1951 in Ft. Benning, GA, son of the late Albert Dewey Nason, Jr. and Edith Maureen Miller Nason. He loved to play the guitar, pyrography, carpentry and spending time with his family and roadtrips. He was a draftsmen of metal buildings for 43 years, and retired from ACI Building Systems.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Wanda Russell Nason of Columbus, GA; children, Lara Lamb (Matt) of Columbus, GA, Derek Nason of Columbus, GA; grandson, Finn Nason of Olney, MD, special grandchildren, Sylvie, Ames, Jude and Birdie Bandi, siblings, Laura Spann (Bill) of Marietta, GA, Bert Nason of Tucker, GA, Janice Ray (Jim) of Panama City, FL; numerous nieces and nephews.
