Larry Joseph Maus, 84, of Carrollton, Georgia died Sunday, January 24, 2021 at his residence
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 01, 2021 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Dr. Tommy Henschel officiating. Interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, we encourage everyone to make the best decisions to remain safe. If anyone wishes to attend the funeral service, please remember to remain 6 feet apart from those not in your household and wear personal protective equipment.
Mr. Maus was born September 10, 1936 in Oblong, Illinois son of the late Forrest and Evelyn Maus. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired as a foreman for Capital Cadillac in Atlanta, Ga. After his retirement, Mr. Maus worked part-time for Wal-Mart. He loved camping, fishing, gardening and most importantly woodworking.
Other than his parents, Mr. Maus was preceded in death by his wife Joy Agnes Shiver Maus.
Survivors include his children, Cathy Dinning and Michael Everritt of Douglasville, Georgia, Susan Campbell and her husband Lynn of Upatoi, Georgia, Scott Maus of Punta Gorda, Florida, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
