Larry P. King of Columbus, GA died Sunday, September 1, 2024 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 6, 2024 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Mike Linch officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Larry was born February 16, 1940 in Phenix City AL to the late Dimon P. King and Anne Bryan King. He retired in 2020 as the owner of Appraisal Associates of Columbus. He was SRA designated and a long standing member of the Appraisal Institute. His hobbies were woodworking and shooting sport clays.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Tom King and sister Linda King.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marie S. King of Columbus, GA, sons Paul D. King (Trisha) of Columbus, GA, Stephen P. King (Diane) of Tampa, FL, Matthew R. King (Melanie) of Columbus, GA, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
