Larry G. Harris, 75, of Columbus, GA died peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, October 27, 2015.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, October 30, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clifford Folds officiating. The following will serve as Pallbearers; Chris Glass, David Harris, William Harris, Alton Sivell, Bradley Harrison, and Joel Honeycutt. Interment will follow to Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Larry was born May 5, 1940 in Troup County, GA son of the late Edgar Hurst Harris and Mary Sue Harris. He worked as a Parts Supervisor for Columbus Mills.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Roberts Harris, son, David C. Harris, and brothers, Edgar Harris, Jr. and Henry Lewis Harris.
Survivors include his daughters, Rhonda Glass (John) of Roanoke, AL, Lynn Barrett (Kenny) of LaGrange, GA and Vicky Entrekin of Athens, GA, son, Douglas Sivell of Valley, AL, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
