Kyle David Strickland, 20, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, January 21, 2018 at his home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Pastor Lloyd Johnson officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Kyle was born June 17, 1997 in Columbus, GA son of James David Strickland, Jr. and Jene Lyn McLaughlin both of Columbus, GA. He graduated from Hardaway High School and worked at Seasonal Concepts. Kyle loved his family, USC Trojans and the New England Patriots.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James David Strickland, Sr.
Other than his parents, he is survived by his brother, Gavin Cole Strickland of Columbus, GA, paternal grandmother, Deborah Dodge (William) of Manassas, VA, maternal grandmother, Toni Jones (Michael), aunts, Laura Hutto (Jonathon), Heather Borutta, Columbus, GA, Leah Spurlock (Travis) all of Columbus, GA and Kaylin Dodge of Niceville, FL, great aunts, Terri Brokaw (Jerome) of Baytown, TX and Misty Cantrelle (Ernest) of Ruperville, GA, many cousins and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the House of T.I.M.E., Inc. 1200 Wynnton Rd. Columbus, GA 31906 or to any youth charity of your choice.
