Kimberly Jean Taghon, 55, of Columbus, GA passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, March 7, 2022 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Rob Strickland officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. A private interment will be at Parkhill Cemetery.
Kimberly was born October 31, 1966 in Ft. Benning, GA to the late Lewis J.(Jake) Taylor and Margaret J. Jackson Taylor. She was a full time Mother and Wife who loved taking care of her family. She loved the Lord, studying and mediating on Scripture, gardens and birds, reading, and sewing.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Larry Taghon, Jr. of Columbus, GA, daughter, Emma Victoria Taghon (Fiancé, Hithem Shaw) of Auburn, AL, brother, Roderick “Ricky” Taylor (Jean) of Salem, AL, nieces, Coral and Sarah and nephew, Glenn.
