Kevin Bryant Makin, 59, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, October 28, 2018 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, November 01, 2018 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907, with Pastor Judy Hay officiating.
Mr. Makin was born May 04, 1959 in Rockville Centre, NY to the late Edward Makin and Colleen Van Orden Makin. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Edward Makin. Mr. Makin was a great cook, who loved to BBQ, loved history, and used to love to hunt and fish. Mr. Makin was always willing to help family and friends when they needed him. He was able to fix just about anything and many people relied on him. He was a strong loving husband and father and he will be greatly missed by many.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta L. Makin of Columbus, GA; daughters, Colleen D. Makin and Kelli L. Makin both of Columbus, GA; a mother-in-law, Lillian P. Cook of Columbus, GA.
