Kerri Ray Nixon, 56, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, October 4, 2020 at her residence.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Kerri was born November 27, 1963 in Columbus, GA to the late Rowan Ray and Ethel Rusk Ray. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She loved to cook, watch her reality TV shows, and loved to listen to Rock and Roll music.
She is preceded in by her parents.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Simmons, daughter Sydney Nixon of Columbus, GA., brother, Butch Ray of Columbus, GA., sister, Vicky Ray Armstrong, of Columbus, GA., grandkids, Kaden Wahlert and Skyler Nixon of Columbus, GA., nieces Kate Armstrong, Casey Armstrong Smith, Veronica Armstrong, Courtney Ray, and nephews, Cory Armstrong, and Brandon Ray all of Columbus, GA.
