Kenneth Earl Miller, 78, of Pine Mountain, GA, died Saturday, January 10, 2015 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Deborah Linnell officiating. Interment will follow at Riverdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Miller was born April 1, 1936 in Donalsonville, GA, son of the late Hosea Miller and Ollie Smith Miller. He was the owner and operator of Co-op Cabs and Yellow Cabs. Mr. Miller was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and VFW Post 665 and was a US Army Veteran.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher and Randy Earl Miller.
Survivors include his wife, Regina Miller of Pine Mountain, GA; children, Angela Green of Birmingham, AL, Andrew K. Miller of Columbus, GA, Sheila Gale Miller of Ladonia, AL, Breanna Belle Miller of Pine Mountain, GA; step-children, SFC (Ret.) Charles J. Sturgill, III (Regina) of Cambridge, OH, SGM Jack A. Sturgill of Ft. Lewis, WA, Master Chief Petty Officer Joshua A. Sturgill (Heather) of New London, CT, and Ashley M. Janney (Travis) of LaGrange, GA; brothers and sisters, Roy Edward Miller (Jeanette) of Fortson, GA, Dorothy Collins of Perry, GA, Sylvia Joyce Epolite of Columbus, GA, Jimmy Ray Miller (Sandra) of Stuart, FL, Ronald G. Miller of Pine Mountain, GA; 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
