Kenneth Wayne Martin, 67, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Northside.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907, with Rev. Brad McDaniel officiating. An interment will be held at Oakhill Cemetery, Waverly Hall Ga. immediately following the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Martin was born December 6, 1951 in Columbus, GA son of Helen Virginia Martin Abbott and the late Bruce P. Martin, Jr. . Other than his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Butch and Steve Martin.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Edna Carlton Martin of Columbus, GA; children, Tony Wayne Martin (MeMe) of Panama City Beach, FL, Michele Marie Cooper (Wayne) of Columbus; his mother, Helen Virginia Sizemore Martin Abbott (Bob) of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Seth Martin (Alexandria) of Birmingham, AL, Chase Martin (Brit) of Destin, FL, Dylan Martin (Whitney) of Panama City Beach, FL, Cain Martin (Charity) of Panama City Beach, FL, Lucas Cooper of Columbus, GA; great grandchildren, Devlyn Martin, Elora Martin, Edward Martin, Joshua Martin all of Panama City Beach, FL; siblings, Sandra Martin of Columbus, GA, Gary Martin (Anna) of Fortson, GA, Gina Reynolds (Ray) of Phenix City, AL, Mark Martin of Phenix City, AL, Randy Martin of Columbus, GA and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
