Kenneth “Kenny” Sherwood Livingston

Kenneth “Kenny” Sherwood Livingston, 73, passed on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Emory University Hospital, in Atlanta, GA with his loving family by his side.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, October 19, 2024, in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Kenny was born December 2, 1950 in Columbus, GA to the late Emmett Sherwood Livingston and Ruby Pearl Buice Livingston.  As a graduate of Columbus High School, Class of 1969 he was extremely well loved by his friends and fellow classmates. Kenny had a great sense of humor and never met a stranger. He was always ready and willing to help anyone with any project they might have, no matter how big or small. In addition to earning his CDL and driving for various companies, he was also a licensed real estate agent for 20 years. Kenny’s heart and soul was packing up and going ahead of the “DANCE TEAM” to get set up prior to the performance. He was a co-founder and one of the first instructors of the Atlanta Swing Dancers Club as well as an instructor at Georgia Tech Dance Association. Kenny will always be remembered by his friends as a fabulous drummer. Having played in several local groups, the bands always wowed the attendees with their talent.

Survivors include the love of his life for 34 years, his fiancée, Ms. Kerry Frost. daughters, Tara Powell of Atlanta, GA, Kristin West of Richmond Hill, GA and Tiffany Canzoneri of Columbus, GA, brother, Jimmy Livingston of West Point, GA and grandchild, Mackenzie Gilliland, Kaylee Gilliland, Wesley Powell, Madison Canzoneri and Gunnar Canzoneri.
