Kenneth Wilson Holland, 71, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Gentiva Hospice in Columbus, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 30, 2016 in Porter Chapel at First Baptist Church 212 12th Street Columbus, GA 31901 with Dr. James Elder officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Holland was born November 4, 1944 in Columbus, GA, son of the late Albert Clark and Margaret Wylette Reames Holland. He was a 1963 graduate of Jordan Vocational High School and a 32nd degree Mason. Mr. Holland was employed by Choice Hotels in quality control as a Regional Franchise Director as well as the proprietor of a local restaurant, The Gourmet Deli. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbus, Georgia and McConnell Memorial in Hiawassee, Georgia. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather.
Survivors include his loving wife, Susan Harkness; daughter, Tiffany Holland Clark (William); son, Wilson Glenn Holland (Kaci); brother, Albert Wayne Holland (Colleen), sisters, Vickie Holland Burch (Doris), and Katrina Holland Cotney (Donald); and eleven grandchildren, Adams Clark, Reames Clark, MargaretRuth Clark, Ruby Clark, Grady Clark, Willa Clark, Micah Clark, Wilson Holland, Jr., Woodruff Holland, Walter Holland, and Helen Holland all of Columbus as well as several nieces and nephews.
