Kenneth "Kenn" Lamar German, 63, of Midland, GA died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at his home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Jimmy Blanton and Rev. Clint Strickland officiating. A private family interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. German was born September 15, 1954 in Ozark, AL son of Albert E. Faircloth of Columbus, GA and the late Fay Nell Faircloth. He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. He was a handyman who was fun-loving, had a great sense of humor and always joking, known as the "candy man". He enjoyed leading construction teams on mission trips.
Kenn loved helping people and was friendly and outgoing. He loved being G-daddy to his precious grandchildren. He fought the good fight with cancer and lived a good life.
Survivors other than his father include his loving wife of 40 years, Katherine Anne German of Midland, GA, sons, Jeffery Matthew German (Elizabeth) and Cory Michael German (Jessica) all of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Kenneth B. German, Josephine German, Emma German and Caleb German all of Columbus, GA, and many other beloved cousins.
