Mr. Kenneth Wayne Faulk, 72, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, March 4, 2021 at his home after a long, brave struggle with PAH. He died knowing the love of family who are so proud and thankful to have had him in their lives and will always cherish the wonderful husband, Dad and PopPop that he was. Wayne was a happy man with a ready smile and a helping hand.
Mr. Faulk was cremated per his wishes and the family plans for a private gathering according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA.
Faulk was born July 26, 1948 in Pike County, Alabama, the son of the late William S. Faulk and Nora Senn Faulk. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Faulk was an electrical contractor who proudly worked with Alexander Electric Company for 34 years where Mr. Joe, whom Wayne greatly admired, gave him the opportunity to learn the trade in 1972. In 2006, Wayne wanted the challenge of running his own business, Faulk Electric, and he successfully and honorably did that for 10 years until retirement in 2016.
Mr. Faulk is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Martha Hutto Faulk; 2 sons, Keith Faulk (Mandy) and Jeff Faulk; 2 grandsons, Noah Faulk and Brayden Faulk; 1 sister, Shirley Arnold (Effort); many other extended family members.
