Kayla Zee Castro, 16, of Columbus, GA passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012 in Columbus, GA.
Love, patience, beauty, kindness, special and neat, simple, touching, smart, kind, meaningful, positive, silly, wonderful. She was bubbly. She was a sister, a friend, a daughter. A granddaughter, a niece, a cousin, a friend. She was wonderful, peaceful, smiles, gracefully clumsy, funny, spiritual, and conservative. She was fearless, exclusive, and one of a kind. A child of God. This is what Kayla stood for. I love you mama. Thank you for being the best. You are my strength.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, April 7, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimbo Albrecht officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ms. Castro was born September 22, 1995 in Columbus, GA daughter of Zoelvy Castro and Mark Christopher Tyler. She was a student at Hardaway High School and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Survivors other than her parents include her brother, Evans Gene Castro, maternal grandparents, Zoraida and Evans Castro, paternal grandparents, Otis Delaney and Phyllis Ann Tyler, aunts and uncles, Brian and Michelle Burditt and Michael and Darlene Tackett, cousins, Sophie Burditt, Aubrey Tackett and William Tackett.
