Katie Diane Rutherford, 68, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Britt David Baptist Church with Reverend Tim Jones officiating. Interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Rutherford was born October 15, 1941 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late James Leonard Wilkes and Claudia Wise Wilkes. She was retired restaurant owner and member of Britt David Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Gruber (James W.) and Kimberly Rutherford, both of Columbus, GA, four sons, Charles Rutherford of New Braunfels, TX, James Rutherford of Tyler, TX, Chris Rutherford (Julie) of New Braunfels, TX and Andy Rutherford (Lisa) of Canyon Lake, TX, 11 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
