Kathy Carr McNeil, 59, of Columbus, Ga. died Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Columbus Hospice House.
A family graveside service will be held Monday, December 8, 2014 in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus.
Ms. McNeil was born July 12, 1955 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee daughter of Frances K. Crim of Columbus, Ga. and the late Robert W. Carr. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church and retired as a secretary for the Muscogee County School District.
Other than her father, Ms. McNeil was preceded in death by her brother Bob Carr.
Survivors, other than her mother, include her daughter, Rebekka Karol McNeil, a grandson, Ayden Connor Chiarella, step daughter, Darcie Cooper (Sonny) and their children, Skylar and Ryland, and Rebekka's father, David McNeil, sisters, Nancy Buntin (Jim) and Lynn Cantrell (Brian), brother, Scott Porter(Beverly) a special friend, David Floyd, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Morningside Baptist Church, 6065 Morningside Drive, Columbus, GA 31909 or Columbus Hospice House, 7020 Moon Road, Columbus, GA 31909.
