Kathy Marie Glawson, 60, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, July 10, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tommy Bradford officiating. A private interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ms. Glawson was born May 9, 1955 in Ft. Benning, GA daughter of the late Leonard Joseph and Katherine Allums Glawson. She worked as a Surgical Technician for Columbus Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Clinic for 24 years. Ms. Glawson also proudly served our country in the United States Navy for 22 years.
Survivors include her sister, Sylvia Drake of Columbus, GA, brothers, Timothy "Tim" R. Glawson (Sandra) of Columbus, GA and Joseph L. Glawson (Diana) of Moscow, ID, numerous nieces and nephews, and other family members.
Flowers will be accepted, but those so desiring may make memorial donations to Columbus Hospice House 7020 Moon Rd. Columbus, GA 31909.
